Hello friends, this is Kathy here. Today I am here to express my views about the café rouge restaurant in our place. Few days back, I received the cafe rouge vouchers in email and then I and my daughter thought of visiting the place to give a try. The restaurant appeared me fairly small upon entering with the series of different dining places. The building was very old but reveals the good French authenticity and chic.
The menu was written in French language with English subtitles below. There were number of courses to choose from in the menu however to order the meals separately was bit costly and we ordered the 3 course at special price. The lunch was of great vale and cost us around £6 after the café rouge voucher discount.
Then, the waiter took us our order and starters were served to us in lesser time. However, the cafe rouge vouchers was very busy at that time so it took very much time to grasp the attention of waiters. My daughter waited for about 10 minutes for her drink to be serve. It was good not to be rushed into meal but it was not very good to wait through the meal. Anyways, these small things can occur at anytime so no regrets at all!!!
When our lunch arrived it was very yummy and it was fantastic French flavors. I was very pleased with the meal and service.
Café rouge had wonderful family atmosphere but was very busier. I would surely like to go there again and would highly recommend it to every person.
